Dissolve 29.00 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium
completely and sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 min, cool it to 42-45°C
and add 0.5 ml filter sterilized solution, prepared by mixing equal volumes of 4% w/v solution of
sodium sulphite and 7% w/v ferric citrate, to 25 ml of single strength medium or 0.4 ml and 2 ml
to 10 ml and 50 ml of double strength medium respectively. Mix well and inoculate test sample
aseptically.
